The Mud Pit

Today we went to the Mud Pit. It's one of the great features of St. Christopher, but we have never gone as a family until this morning. As part of Generational Impact Camp that's taking place right now at St. Christopher, a whole group of us walked up the beach, across the dunes and through the muddy trail only to end up at a perpedual bog.

As you can see, Elaina jumped right in, but it should be noted that she has been here before.

Noah was happy to trudget through the black mud, but when arriving at the actual pit was much more interested in watching than jumping in. Andrew got to the pit and proceeded to pinch his nose and tell everyone that passed by, "Whew! You stink!"

Molly did some dry heaving before deciding to head back to the beach with mom, and various clean dry people passed Margaret around and enjoyed a brief excuse not to be splashed with the stinking bog.

Molly wasn't the only one her age to fall asleep at the dinner table. There were actually two others passed out on the tables.

Margaret Sitting Up

Margaret has been sitting up for a few weeks , but she's now at the point where she is very confident and can play happily without falling for pretty much as long as she wants. We try to keep a dog handy for her to fall over on when she gets tired.

"Andrew, Smile!"

Andrew has always loved having his picture taken. So much so that sometimes his smiles completely take over.
